Welcome to Year 1&2, we are Anning Class!
Our teachers are Miss Morgan, Mrs Harding, Miss Clark and Miss Arnone.
We value communication with our children's families to help provide the best support and education for your children. Please either speak to us at the end of the school day, contact us through the School Office or Tapestry, if you have an queries, concerns or good news to share!
Our PE lesson this term is first thing Monday morning - please come into school wearing your PE kit and bring your school uniform in case they need to get changed. Our second PE lesson will be on a Wednesday afternoon.
Please provide appropriate clothing as PE lessons will be outside.

Phonics Screening Check As we approach the phonics screening check, here is the link to some videos on the Little Wandle website to help if you wanted to do some extra practice at home. It shows videos on how to pronounce the sounds correctly.

Reading Books
Reading books will be changed every Friday.
The sharing books can be changed as soon as they have been read. The reading practice books will have been read in class first prior to being sent home.
Please ensure books are sent in everyday so that we can continue our Guided Reading sessions in class and individual reading.

We created pictures and then assembled them together to resemble art by Andy Warhol.We wrote a class prayer. We each wrote a line about the Queen.
Seven Continents Song
We are learning about the continents and have found this song very helpful to remember them!

We have been learning about the 5 oceans and have been singing this song in class to help us learn and remember them!
