In one of our lessons we used drama techniques to explore our text further. We used mirroring, conscience alley, hot seating and freeze frames.

We have just started looking at our new class text. We are using the text "Vlad and the Great Fire of London". We had pictures about the text to see if we could work out the setting, characters and plot.

Our first text this term is "Toby and the Great Fire of London". We started by exploring clues about our text. We then worked on writing in third person. Our end goal was to write a newspaper report so began planning different sections after learning about them.
