Year 6: Attenborough Class

Term 6

Welcome back to term 6, we hope you had an enjoyable break and look forward to even more exciting learning this term!

We shall be answering our Big Question: How has the monarchy changed since it began? We shall explore how the monarch's power has altered through the centuries and will question the reliability of primary sources recorded at the time.

Please can you also continue to support your child at home to practise their spellings, read regularly and earn points on TTRockstars each week. As soon as children have completed a book they should complete their Accelerated Reader quiz.

In addition to reading independently, we shall continue to read Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief and use the picture book The Arrival as a stimulus for our own writing.
