This week in Maths we have begun working on capacity, weight and temperature. We have looked at comparing weight as well as measuring using grams and kilograms. In capacity, we began to think about whether something is full, empty or half full/empty.
This week we have continued our learning on money. We have been recognising coins and notes, finding total amounts and comparing amounts of money as well.
We have continued learning about 2D and 3D shapes. We have learnt about faces, vertices and edges on 3D shapes and also thought about what 2D shapes can be printed using 3D shapes.
This week we have started our new unit on 2D and 3D shapes. We had a go at drawing our 2D shapes using a ruler and squared paper.
